My Comments

  • I agree completely with Deborah that boundaries between home and work life rank at the top of the list. I've run my home-based firm for nine years now, and I am just now getting to dealing with a remodel that will effectively provide a physically separate space for my home work life habitat (up until now the boundaries have had to be virtual, since my office has been in the third upstairs bedroom in the middle of the hubbub of home life). Thank you, Deborah, for your thoughts and perspective. Another great resource for the home-based exec is Home Office Weekly. The URL is http://www.homeofficeweekly.com.
