My Comments

  • Very targeted focus, Betsy. I agree with you, the words 'Thank You' are so important to the manager-employee relationship. And so often forgotten, particularly in this fast paced work world. I suggest to my clients that they get in the habit of saying 'Thank you for your contribution'. My recommendation for making it a routine? Focus on saying this each and every payday. That makes it part of your work routine and reinforces the reason an employee is working for a paycheck.
  • Frances: Great guide...thanks for the valuable insights and links. I have found the One Page Business Plan to be the best template for my bp ( http:\\www.onepagebusinessplan.com ) . It is concise, thorough, and easy to understand and implement. If you want to create a plan but not be consumed or overwhelmed by one, check out this resource.
